Felton Man Arrested for Theft of a Motor Vehicle

A Felton man has been arrested after Delaware State Police received a report of a stolen car from a home on Cabin Ridge Road in Felton. Police were called Friday morning and learned the Dodge Journey was taken during the overnight hours – the keys were left inside. A credit card inside the car was also used to make an unauthorized purchase. Police identified the suspect as 18 year old Adam Green of Felton and were notified that the vehicle was at a residence on Nathaniel Mitchell Road in Dover. Green was arrested and the vehicle and keys recovered. A computer check showed that Green failed to follow a court ordered curfew and cut off a GPS ankle monitor during the early hours. Green is charged with the following offenses:  

  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)
  • Unlawful Use of Payment Card Under $1500
  • Breach of Release
  • Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree

Green was taken to Troop 3 where he was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $3,501 cash bond.
