Felton Man Arrested on Assault & Weapons Charges after Stabbing at Dover Bar

A stabbing at a Dover bar Sunday night has led to the arrest of a Felton man. Delaware State Police were called to the Touchdown Bar just after 11pm and learned that a male victim was stabbed by a man identified as 44 year old Charles Murray of Felton. Investigation revealed that Murray accused the victim and the bartender of stealing his debit card before punching the victim inside the bar.

After leaving the bar the victim told his friend who was seated in the driver’s side of their car what happened when Murray approached the driver’s door. The friend got out and ended up in an fight with Murray – the victim approached them and Murray stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim suffered critical injuries.

Murray, who was not injured, was arrested and charged with 1st degree assault and weapons offenses and is being held at SCI in default of a $102,000 cash bond.
