A Felton man has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts in the Bridgeville and Greenwood areas in June and July. Delaware State Police began their investigation in mid-June and during a three-week period a trailer, tow dolly, three ATV’s, four riding mowers and a push mower were taken from yards. Police developed 32 year old James Carey of Felton as a suspect and on July 15th went to his last address in Felton and recovered a stolen trailer and car dolly, but Carey was not there. Police learned Carey was staying at a Federalsburg, MD home and with help from MSP and the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, Carey was located in the home and arrested. He was extradited to Delaware on Monday and charged with 6 counts of felony theft, 2 counts of theft and 8 counts of 3rd degree criminal trespass.
