Felton Man Faces Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct Charges Following Royal Farms Incident

A 34-year-old Felton man has been arrested on multiple charges after police say he returned to a Royal Farms on South DuPont Highway where he had previously been involved in a trespassing complaint. Felton Police said officers initially responded in late March after the suspect reportedly refused to leave the store, became disorderly, and used vulgar language and racial slurs when asked to exit. Following an investigation, Ryan Patrick Lefort was identified through surveillance footage and warrants were issued for his arrest. Police took him into custody May 3rd after spotting him back at the same location, where authorities say he resisted arrest and was found with drug paraphernalia. Lefort also had two outstanding capias warrants for failure to appear in court on prior charges, including offensive touching of a hospital or nursing home employee and disorderly conduct. He was later committed to Sussex Correctional Institution after failing to post $4,100 bail.
