UPDATED: Fire Damages Dagsboro Business Tuesday Afternoon

Firefighters from Dagsboro were called for a structure fire at B & E Tire and Auto just after 3:30 Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters arriving at the scene found fire and smoke.聽 Officials say the business was occupied and
operating at the time of the fire – all occupants were able to escape without injury.聽 Multiple companies assisted or provided backup as they battled the blaze.聽 聽Officials say there was also a partial collapse of the building.
Route 113 was closed between Clayton Avenue and Pepper Creek Road while crews battle the blaze.
Crews were on the scene for nearly four hours.
The State Fire Marshal conducted an origin and cause investigation. The fire was determined to be accidental in nature and occurred when gasoline vapors ignited during a vehicle repair operation in the interior of the repair garage.
Damage is estimated at $800,000.
