Fire Damages Laurel Area Chicken House

Delmar firefighters were called for a chicken house fire on Old Stage Road just before 5:30 Friday morning. Crews arriving at the scene found a fully involved chicken house with exposures to propane tanks and another chicken house. Crews from Laurel, Gumboro, Blades and Sharptown also responded along with medic units. The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
