The Maryland State fire Marshal’s Office says the weekend blaze at Eastern Shore forest Products is still under investigation. It was first discovered by employees.

Crews from Delaware, Maryland and Virginia responded. It took about nine hours to bring the fire under control.

A company spokesperson told WBOC-TV Eastern Shore forest Products plans to rebuild and has a contingency plan, so workers and customers likely will not be affected by the setback.

The building was fully involved at one point and the fire grew to three alarms.
