UPDATED: Fire Heavily Damages Lewes Area Home

UPDATED – 9:30am – Lewes fire crews have returned to the Ward Road home for a rekindle. They cleared the scene around 10am.

Firefighters from Lewes, Rehoboth and Milton were called for a fire on Ward Road in Lewes just after 10:45 last (Saturday) night. Crews arriving at the scene found flames shooting through the roof. Firefighters from multiple companies, including Indian River, Georgetown, Memorial, Bethany and Millsboro – helped to battle the blaze or provided cover. The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
