UPDATED: Flooding in Some Areas of Sussex County

Fenwick Island looking down Route 54/Lighthouse Road around 4:30pm Sunday – flooding in many parking lots on southbound side of Coastal Hwy as well and into Ocean City along both sides of Coastal Hwy.

Greenwood – the area of Greenwood and Route 16 between Route 13 and Hickman Road, also West Minor Street and North First Street. Multiple agencies on the scene due to flooding. Parts of Greenwood remain under water from today’s rain. The town has posted pictures on the Town of Greenwood Facebook page.

UPDATED: Fenwick Island – in the area of Coastal Highway & Route 54/Lighthouse Road – high water on the roadway. This is cleared.

UPDATED: Bethany Beach – Route 1 Northbound & Southbound at Route 26 – high water. Route 1 at 26 is cleared, however there is still high water on Pennsylvania Avenue.
