Delaware will keep its one seat in the U.S. House of Representatives under a population update released by the US Census.

Following the 2020 population count, the US population has topped 331-million people.

Pennsylvania and West Virginia are among states that would lose Congressional seats ahead of next year’s elections, while North Carolina and several other states each pick up one seat.

Delaware’s population is just short of 990,000.

Maryland also keeps its eight seats in Congress.
