Forecasters Monitoring Potential Winter Storm This Weekend

Another winter storm is on the way for late Saturday and Sunday on Delmarva. AccuWeather Meteorologist Joe Lundberg tells the Talk of Delmarva’s Mike Bradley that there is still uncertainty on the exact track and snowfall amounts, but the southern and eastern parts of Delmarva will likely see accumulating snow while areas to the north and west–little to no accumulation.

He says winds could easily exceed 40 mph and with it getting closer and closer to full moon, that means the tide cycles will be abnormally high. The high tide cycles and strong winds may lead to beach erosion and coastal flooding all along the beaches.
