Former Salisbury Resident Convicted of Sexual Abuse of Child

A Wicomico County jury has found 36 year old Kelite Ferreras, formerly of Salisbury, guilty of one count each of sex abuse of a minor, 2nd degree rape and other related charges. In October of 2016, Ferreras raped and sexually abused a child under the age of 12 who was in the home. Ferreras left the country and was arrested in Haiti last March by Haitian Police, US Marshals and Interpol and extradited back to Wicomico County. A pre-sentence investigation and mental health evaluation have been ordered before sentencing.
