Four K9 Teams Graduate DOC Training

The 2019 Basic Patrol K-9 Class graduated Thursday after fourteen weeks of intense and challenging training.  The training consists of obedience, agility course, tracking, contraband, evidence and suspect search, criminal apprehension and handler protection.  The K-9 handlers also received training on basic K-9 health and first aid.  Two K-9 teams will be on duty at SCI in Georgetown.
