Fraud Investigation Leads to Discovery of Skimmers at Gas Pumps in Crisfield

Today, following an investigation by the Somerset County Sheriff鈥檚 Office (SCSO) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) involving fraudulent credit card transactions, authorities discovered that credit card Skimmers had been placed on gas pumps at the Shore Stop on Richardson Avenue in Crisfield. The investigation remains ongoing at this time. The Somerset County Sheriff鈥檚 Office urges anyone that has been a victim of the above incident or individuals with any information that may be pertinent to this investigation to contact Detective Mumford of the CID unit at (410-651-9225).
