Free manufacturing skills training offered for unemployed workers

Delaware Tech and Delaware Department of Education are offering free manufacturing training skills program for unemployed and underemployed individuals. If selected for the program, you will received 600 hours of training including subjects like CPR, forklift, OSHA and have an opportunity receive nationally-recognized certifications.

Interested individuals must attend an information session at the Delaware Tech Georgetown Campus. There will be information sessions held twice a week through the end of January, including 2 today at 9 AM and 5:30 PM.

Upcoming information sessions:
Jan. 15, 17, 23, 25, 29, and 31 at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Information sessions held at:
Delaware Tech – Environmental Training Center, 21179 College Drive, Georgetown.
Classes begin Feb. 5, 2018.

The program will take place at Delaware Tech’s Innovation and Technology Partnership Center, which is located behind the Woodbridge Middle School in Bridgeville.
