Gas Prices Down Slightly

rita-crosby-promo

The national average for a gallon of regular gas dropped 4 cents since last week in spite of growing demand for gas. AAA Mid-Atlantic says growing stock levels have helped to push prices lower. The national average is at $3.82 per gallon. The price of oil has declined as well – and is just below $80 per barrel. However the approaching holiday weekend, gas demand and volatile oil prices – and the hurricane season becoming more active – could limit how much lower gas prices might drop in the weeks ahead.

In Delaware the average is $3.67 – down 3 cents in the last week.
