Georgetown Man Injured in Crash North of Millsboro Friday
A single vehicle crash Friday morning on Bethesda Road just north of Avenue of Honor sent a Georgetown man to the hospital. Delaware State Police tell the Talk of Delmarva that around 11:45 Friday morning a Honda Accord was northbound on Bethesda Road at an apparent high rate of speed when the Accord went off the side of the road, struck a culvert which caused the vehicle to become airborne. The Accord hit a utility pole and overturned multiple times – the driver – an 18 year old man from Georgetown was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries.
