Georgetown PD arrest 8 in drug bust

Georgetown Police catch eight suspects during a drug sweep. On Sunday, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Dunbarton Apartment Complex, finding 189 bags of heroin, almost an ounce of crack, over a half ounce of cocaine, nine grams of marijuana, 15 oxycotin pills, and over $2,000 in cash.

Police arrested eight people in connection with the raid, charging everyone with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and other drug-related charges. One man was committed to Sussex Correctional in lieu of $19,000 secured bond, the rest were released after posting bail.
