A barn at the Better Days Farm in Greensboro has seen better days after it burned to the ground Saturday morning. State Fire Marshal’s office officials say the owner discovered the fire damaged remains of the pole barn when he arrived at the East Cherry Lane property around 7am and called 9-11. Greensboro Fire Department personnel extinguished remaining hot spots, but officials say most of the fire self-extinguished before the owner arrived at the property. Officials say the fire occurred sometime between 7:45pm Friday and 7am Saturday and burned unnoticed during that time. The cause and manner of the fire are still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $150,000.
