Greenwood Man Arrested in Milford for Robbery and Assault

A 21-year-old Greenwood man has been arrested for a robbery and assault that occurred on May 7^th on South Walnut Street in the area of Riverwalk. Milford Police say the victim suffered an injury to the face. After striking the victim, the robber fled with the person’s property. The victim was taken to the hospital, treated, and released. Meanwhile, the investigation and video surveillance led to the identification of the Greenwood man as Hezekiah Dawson. Dawson faces charges that include Robbery 1^st Degree, Hindering Prosecution, Assault 3^rd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct.  Dawson went before the Justice of the Peace Court and was committed to the Department of Correction on $34,100 cash bail.  Dawson was ordered to appear in the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing.
