UPDATED: Greenwood Residents Elect 3 to Town Council

UPDATED – 7:35pm – Residents in Greenwood have opted for a change in the town council.  Voters have elected incumbents Willard Russell and Donald Torbert and challenger Norman Reed who were the top three vote-getters Saturday.  The unofficial tally has Willard Russell with 64 votes, Donald Torbert with 55, Norman Reed garnered 49 votes and Dustin Yoder got 41.  Russell, Torbert and Reed will be sworn in at the next town council meeting in February.

Greenwood residents go to the polls Saturday to elect three to the town council.  Incumbents Willard Russell, Dustin Yoder and Donald Torbert are challenged for one of those open seats by Norman Reed.  Polls are open from 1 to 7pm at Town Hall.  The winners will serve two-year terms and will be sworn in at the next town council meeting on February 6th.
