State, local and regional officials were on hand Friday as ground was broken for the new TidalHealth Millsboro North Campus. The new 150,000 square-foot facility will stand as the health system’s largest outpatient facility – located on Route 113 north of Route 20. The healthcare facility will be comprised of three buildings. The first building expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months – and will house Primary and Specialty Care, diagnostic imaging, a FamilyLab, pharmacy services and an array of additional outpatient services. Officials say the design of the new campus will enable it to function much like a hospital without inpatient beds.
