Gunshots Strike Kent Co. Home Twice In 3 Days

Two incidents involving gunshots are under investigation in Little Creek, east of Dover.

According to Delaware State Police, residents in the 300-block of Main Street were awakened by gunfire early Friday at six minutes after midnight. One resident found bullet holes in the house, and 22 spent casings were found.

Then, early Sunday morning at about 4:08 a.m., residents in the same area heard gunshots. The same house that was hit Friday was damaged again, and more than 30 spent shell casings were found in the area.

No injuries have been reported.

State Police said the suspects are three males who left in two vehicles and fled northbound on Bayside Drive (SR 9). Anyone with information is asked to contact Delaware State Police at 302-698-8443 or Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
