An occupied vehicle and an occupied home in the Seaford area were struck by gunshots late Tuesday night, according to Delaware State Police.
At about 10:26 p.m., three people were traveling in the area of the 500-block of Clearbrooke Boulevard when a dark-colored sedan came up from behind and started to travel recklessly.
As a 17-year-old girl pulled over to the shoulder to allow the other vehicle to pass, it stopped and the front-seat passenger rolled down the side window and fired multiple rounds at the vehicle, striking it.
A 17-year-old girl, and 16-year-old girl and a 31-year-old man were in the vehicle that was targeted. They were not injured.
State Police said shell casings were found in the area, and a bullet hole was found in the garage door of a residence occupied by a 72-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman. They were not struck or injured.
The dark-colored sedan sped off. Police only have a very limited description of the suspect: a black male wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
