Harrington Man Arrested for Firing Gunshots During Large Fight

A Harrington man has been arrested for firing gunshots during a large fight at Clarks Corner Apartments on May 29th. Police say Jermaine Reid fired the weapon over the crowd and pointed it toward individuals involved in the altercation. The Harrington Police Department responded to the scene, and he was taken into custody at his home with assistance from Delaware Probation and Parole and the State Police. Reid faces numerous charges, including aggravated menacing, reckless endangering, and weapons offenses. He鈥檚 being held at Sussex Correctional Institute in default of a $124,000 cash bail. Additional arrests are expected.
