Hartly Woman Charged with Drug & Weapons Offenses after Traffic Stop in Felton

A traffic stop in the area of Ludlow Lane by Felton Police led to the arrest of a Hartly woman on drug and weapons offenses. Police say a DSP K-9 gave a positive alert to drugs in the vehicle and a search turned up over 13 grams of suspected crystal meth and drug paraphernalia. Police also located two illegal weapons concealed in the vehicle.
The driver, 40 year old Amanda Hickman of Hartly was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Class B Felony) x2聽 聽
- Manufacture/Deliver/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Tier 2 Quantity
(Class C Felony)聽 聽 - Possess, Purchase, Own or Control a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited (Class F Felony) x2
- Possess Consume a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance except Human Growth Hormone w/o a Prescription (Class B Misdemeanor)聽聽
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia not related to Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor)
- Several traffic related charges
Hickman was video arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $20,200 unsecured bond pending a later court date.
