Henderson Fire Under Investigation

Firefighters in Goldsboro were called for a structure fire on River Bridge Road in Henderson on New Year’s Day just after 6am. Fire officials say no one was at home at thee time of the fire – a neighbor discovered the fire at the one-story, single family home.
Officials say the fire began in the interior of the home, but the cause remains under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
The residents have been displaced and a family dog died as a result of the fire. Damage is estimated at $200,000.
