House Fire Displaces Three in Talbot County

The cause of a house fire that occurred on Country Way Lane in Easton, Talbot County is under investigation. The blaze broke out early Saturday evening, January 24th at the two story, wood frame, single-family home. The residence included a basement and attached garage. 聽A neighbor who discovered the fire alerted the family, and they safely escaped the house. According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the fire started on the inside of the attached garage and extended into the interior of the home. As a result, the house is considered to be a total loss. Family members and friends are assisting the affected family.
