Improvements Coming to Delaware Electric Cooperative Service

If you’re a Delaware Electric Cooperative customer, you’ll soon experience improved reliability of service. DEC has completed construction on a new substation in Sussex County. The Dorey Substation, which was energized in late October, will provide power to about 2100 homes in the Georgetown area for decades. The facility will be a big help due to the growing energy demand in eastern Sussex County.
