The Indian River School District will be coming back with another referendum after the first attempt failed on February 5th.  School Board member, Jim Fritz confirmed to WGMD that they will drop the second question dealing with the currents expenses and only request the major capital improvement question – which asks for funding for the construction of the new Sussex Central High School and classroom additions for Indian River HS and Selbyville Middle School.  The school board met Monday night, but no date for the second referendum has been finalized – that may be decided next week.  By dropping one part of the original referendum, that will lower the amount that the district is asking voters to approve.
