Indian River VFC Find Car in Pond

Indian River VFC was called for a car in the retention pond at Baywood Greens Golf Club near Long Neck just before 1am Thursday. Crews arriving at the scene found a Mercedes SUV went off Route 24 for an unknown reason – ending up in a small pond at the eastern-most portion of the golf course near Banks Road. Delaware State Police are investigating.
