Salisbury Police say a stabbing in the Ocean Aisle Apartment complex in Salisbury on Tuesday left a juvenile injured.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. on Tuesday in the 100 block of Ocean Aisle. Officers responded to reports of a knife assault. Their investigation uncovered that two juvenile siblings were involved in a verbal argument over a family matter which turned physical. It initially was a fist fight, but the 15-year-old juvenile allegedly ended up stabbing the 12-year-old juvenile in the upper leg area. The fight continued on the 3rd floor landing and neighbors called 9-1-1. Upon arrival, Officers say they covered a sheathed machete from the 12-year-old.

Salisbury EMS transported the 12-year-old to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The 15-year-old was transported to the Lower Eastern Shore Children’s Center.
