Investigation into Suspicious Substance in Easton Friday was Determined Non-Threatening
Easton Police were on Brookletts Avenue for an investigation Friday when they were notified of the presence of several suspicious containers with held an unknown liquid substance. Because of concerns for a hazardous material, the Maryland Fire Marshal’s office and Anne Arundel Fire Department Hazmat Unit were called to an area between Tred Avon Avenue and South Aurora Street – and resident were told to shelter in place. Examination of the various liquid substances determined they were non-threatening. The Hazmat Unit gave the all clear just after 10 Friday night.
