UPDATED: Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant Closes All Locations

UPDATED – 09/26/25 – There’s still been no word from Iron Hill management on why all 16 locations of the popular breweries and restaurants were abruptly closed on Thursday – including the Rehoboth Beach location. Signs were posted on establishment doors and on the website thanking their “Valued Guests” for their patronage and that they hope to return in the future. However no reasons have been giving for the closure.

Earlier this month three Iron Hill locations were closed – including the flagship brewpub in Newark, DE, which opened in 1996. The remaining 13 locations were closed Thursday.

ORIGINAL STORY – 09/25/25 – Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has closed all of its locations in the region. In a message shared today, the company, which was founded in Delaware, thanked customers for their “support, friendship, and loyalty over the years.” No reason was stated for the closures, but the company hopes to reopen in the future:
