IRSD: Bus drivers still needed for 2017-2018 school year

Even though the school year may be winding down, with Spring Break in sight and summer seemingly close, however, the Indian River School District still has a shortage of Bus drivers.  According to Indian River spokesman David Maull, the district still needs bus drivers for the 2017 2018 school year, due to a combination of enrollment growth of students and retirements of drivers.

To be a bus driver you’ll need a Commercial Drivers License and a School Bus Endorsement, but the district and its bus contractors will help you get them. If you’re interested, contact Tyler Bryan in the IRSD Transportation Office at (302) 436-1000, Ext.1114 or tyler.bryan@irsd.k12.de.us.
