UPDATED – Delmar, Maryland officials say that Benjamin Jorden ran unopposed and returns to the Mayor’s office. As for the Town Commission – voters have reelected Jack Lenox. Ronald Nembhard has been elected to fill the second open seat.

ORIGINAL STORY – It’s Election Day in Delmar, Maryland. Voters will elect two candidates for town commissioner. Incumbent Jack Lenox is challenged by Faith Higbee and Ronald Nembhard. Lloyd Unsell did not run for re-election and Benjamin Jorden was unopposed for Mayor and will return to the Mayor’s office.

The polls are open until 7pm.
