Juvenile Arrested with Loaded Handgun After Trespassing Incident in Laurel

Laurel Police have arrested a male juvenile for trespassing at Hollybrook Apartments, where he was found sitting outside despite not living there. The arrest happened around 3 a.m. June 18th. When officers attempted to detain him, he resisted and tried to flee. After a struggle, he was arrested and found with a loaded .22 caliber handgun and 3.5 grams of marijuana. The juvenile was charged with multiple offenses, including possession of a firearm during a felony, resisting arrest, and firearm possession by a minor, and was held on $21,000 cash bond at Stevenson House Detention Center.
