Kent County Woman Sues KFC, Gets Awarded More than a Million Dollars

Autumn Lampkins of Kent County, Delaware has been awarded more than a million dollars after suing the fast food restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for discrimination.

Reports indicate Lampkins was an employee of KFC at locations in Camden and Dover. In 2014, she says her managers made it impossible to breastfeed her child.

A jury has awarded Lampkins 25 thousand dollars in compensatory damages and 1.5 million dollars in punitive damages.
