UPDATED 11-15-18 – Delayed again. The launch of Northrop Grumman’s Antares rocket with Cygnus cargo spacecraft is now targeted for 4:01am Saturday, NovEMBER 17, from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility. NASA TV will provide launch coverage with commentary online beginning at 3:30 a.m.
Thursday morning’s launch of the Antares rocket from the Wallops Flight Facility has been postponed because of the weather. The Northrop Grumman Cygnus cargo spacecraft is now set to lift off aboard the Antares rocket in the early morning of Friday, Nov. 16 at 4:23am from Wallops in Virginia. This is a resupply mission to deliver scientific research and supplies to the International Space Station. Much of the U-S East Coast should be able to see the launch if the skies are clear.
