Laurel man on probation found with a half-pound of marijuana

A man on probation arrested in Laurel after being found with a half-pound of marijuana and cocaine. According to State Police, Probation & Parole officers visited Joseph Palmer at his home in the Little Creek Apartments. There they found a half pound of marijuana broken down into dime bags, nearly a half ounce of cocaine, and other paraphernalia like a digital scale. Palmer and a roommate, Ebony Hopkins, were taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics, both are being held in DOC custody on over $32,000 cash bonds.
