Laurel PD Looking for Suspect in Wednesday Shooting

Laurel Police are looking for a Wilmington man in connection with a shooting Wednesday at the Townes of Laurel Court. Police say the 16 year old victim and 31 year old Tykeme Robinson of Wilmington were arguing at a residence. When the two separated, Robinson followed the victim, pulled a firearm and shot the victim in the leg. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound. Police have secured arrest warrants for Robinson on the following charges:
- Possession of Firearm During Commission of a Felony (Class B Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited (Class C Felony)
- Assault Second Degree (Class D Felony)
- Reckless Endanger First Degree (Class F Felony)
