Laurel Police Seize Large Amount of Pot During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop by Laurel Police on Tuesday led to the arrest of a New Jersey man. Police smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and a search turned up a large bag of marijuana – over 10 pounds – in the trunk. The driver, 50 year old Maurice Thomas was arrested and is being held in default of an $80,000 cash bail.
