Legislation to Create a Wicomico County Sanitary District Passed in General Assembly


Legislation that authorizes Wicomico County to create a sanitary district has passed in the Maryland General Assembly and is now awaiting action by Governor Wes Moore. Wicomico County Executive, Julie Giordano, says SB 246 provides the necessary regulation for the County’s water and sewer project. The third reading of the measure passed with a unanimous vote.
