A Lewes man has been arrested for a burglary in the Rolling Meadows area on Sunday.  Delaware State Police say the victim was on a trip when someone went into her home and took multiple pieces of jewelry and cash.  Police learned that 34 year old Matthew Long, who is an acquaintance of the victim, entered the home through an unsecured rear door and took about $7000 in jewelry and cash.  When Police arrested Long, he refused to answer the door, then struggled with troopers before he was arrested.  Long is charged with 2nd degree burglary, theft and resisting arrest with force.  He’s free on a $9000 unsecured bond.
