Lewes to Install 3 New Stop Signs on Cedar Street Monday, June 22

On Monday, weather permitting, the City of Lewes will install stop signs at three locations along Cedar Street – to enhance safety for visitors and residents. The signs will be placed at East Market Street and Cedar Street, Connecticut Avenue and Cedar Street and Odessa/Michigan Avenue and Cedar Street. Electronic sign boards will be placed to alert residents before reaching the new signs.
Lewes Police will monitor the new controlled intersections periodically – and will review citizen complaints and comments as well as other issues and any accidents that may occur.
