Man Badly Burned In Georgetown Fire

A 37-year-old man has been critically injured in a fire that ignited vegetation and an apparent homeless campsite in Georgetown.

According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office, local firefighters and paramedics responded to Douglas Street Monday night and found the burn victim. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Delaware County, Pennsylvania for treatment of severe burns. The man was listed in critical condition.
