Maryland Issues Notice About March Food Stamp Benefits

The Maryland Department of Human Resources says that March’s SNAP/Food Supplement Program benefits will be issued earlier than usual.

Working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Maryland officials say all eligible recipients in Maryland will be issued their benefits on March 6. They say if you already have an EBT card, you may continue to use that card and PIN.

This follows a delay in February’s benefits due to the government shutdown. Usually, payment dates are staggered throughout the month whereas this March’s benefits will be delivered all at once.
