MDOT Activates Emergency Operations Center in Advance of Winter Storm

The Maryland Department of Transportation has activated its Emergency Operations Center and positioned crews across the state to monitor and respond to the storm which is forecast to last into Sunday. A winter storm warning is now in effect throughout Maryland with higher snow accumulations than previously forecast. State Highway officials urge drivers to keep a sharp eye on weather conditions and plan accordingly.
