Milford Man Arrested after Gas Station Burglary

Milford Police have arrested a Milford man after a burglary at the Shell Gas Station on South DuPont Boulevard. Police learned that on Friday, September 5th around 2:55am a suspect threw a rock through the glass door – then stole a large quantity of cigarettes and pre-roll products from the store. The investigation led police to identify the suspect as 35 year old Joshua Kenton of Milford and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Kenton was located in the area of Haven Lake and arrested.
He is charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary 3rd Degree (Felony)
- Theft $1500 or Greater (Felony)
- Criminal Mischief under $1000
Kenton had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 2. Officers requested a secure bail for Kenton, however the court released Kenton on $5,100 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the business.
