Milford Man Charged after Found with Handgun

Just after midnight Sunday, Dewey Beach Police were called for a suicidal subject possibly armed with a handgun.  Police found 22 year old Alex Johnson of Milford near Bellevue Street and Coastal Highway and were able to subdue him and place him in custody.  A loaded 22 caliber semi-automatic handgun was removed from his waistband.  Police learned that Johnson had been involved in an argument with a staff member at the Starboard Restaurant and showed the gun before he left.  Johnson is charged with weapons and other offenses.
